Simpson is a thoughtfully designed sofa that brings together clean contemporary lines, supportive cushioning, and a refined silhouette for modern living spaces. Its structured form gives it a polished look, while its layered cushioning creates a comfortable setting for everyday lounging, conversations, and relaxation.

Built on a strong plywood frame reinforced with pinewood supports, Simpson is designed to provide a dependable foundation for everyday use. The frame uses 18 mm and 12 mm thick plywood panels, with an additional plywood board layer that contributes to the sofa’s structure, shape, and durability.

Comfort begins with the seat and back support. Simpson uses 65 mm wide woven elastic webbing made from a blend of polyester and rubber latex thread. This flexible support system provides a supportive base for the cushions while helping reduce sagging and maintain comfort over time.

The arms and back are generously cushioned with 55 mm high-density moulded polyurethane foam, combined with a 12 mm bending wood veneer and sponge lining. This creates a comfortable, well-supported profile while maintaining the sofa’s clean and structured appearance.

The seat cushions feature 55 mm high-density moulded PU foam with sponge lining and fabric upholstery. Additional fibre fill and shredded foam or air-filled polyester tubes can provide different levels of plushness, giving the seating a soft and inviting feel.

Simpson is available in Fabric or Vinyl/PVC Leather, with standard shade options to complement different interior styles. The upholstery is designed for everyday domestic use, with the specification sheet indicating abrasion resistance of 20,000+ Martindale cycles for general domestic use and 50,000–1,000,000 Martindale cycles for heavy commercial use.

The sofa is finished with a sturdy steel base frame featuring an epoxy powder coating, providing a clean, durable foundation while complementing its contemporary design.

Available as a 1-seater, 2-seater, or 3-seater, Simpson can work as an individual accent piece or as part of a larger seating arrangement. Its balanced proportions and versatile upholstery options make it suitable for living rooms, lounges, reading spaces, and other relaxed interiors.
